A charming Victorian butterfly ring, beautifully crafted in rich 18 carat gold and previous stones. This treasure celebrates one of the most enduring symbols of the natural world.
The ring is designed as a timeless gold band, allowing the exquisite butterfly to take centre stage. Beautifully sculpted, the butterfly's body is formed from a natural baroque pearl, whose organic shape gives the creature a lifelike appearance. Tiny garnet cabochons create its bright red eyes, while each wing is adorned with four sparkling old cut diamonds. The hand cut diamonds here are particularly lively, catching the light with a crisp flash of light.
Throughout the Victorian era, the butterfly was a cherished symbol of hope and new beginnings. Its fleeting beauty made it a fitting emblem of life's precious moments, and it became a popular motif in jewellery inspired by the Victorian fascination with the natural world.
