A are and charming novelty Victorian ring. Designed as a working enveloped, this is a sort after antique jewel.
Created in 9 carat gold, ornately decorated shoulder lead up to a central locket compartment. Designed to open as an envelope, one side clicks one, then a second panel to reveal an empty compartment.
A sentimental ring, it would have housed a love token, picture, locker of hair or any token of adoration within.

MEASUREMENTS :
Locket approximately 8 mm X 7 mm
Weight: 1.60 grams
Ring size: size J (UK/AU) 4.75 (US)
Condition: Overall in splendid antique condition and ready to wear to wear and be loved. The locket closes with a click but theres a little movement. There is just a fine patina of wear over the gold as well as a possible historical sizing.
