Antique Carved Tiger's Eye Pug Pendant With Ruby Eye's

A wonderfully rare and characterful antique pendant. Exquisitely carved from tiger’s eye in the form of a three dimensional pug’s head. Full of personality and charm, this miniature sculpture captures the beloved breed’s expressive features with remarkable depth and realism.

What makes this piece truly captivating is the choice of material. Tiger’s eye is famed for its chatoyancy; a natural optical effect caused by fibrous inclusions within the stone. As the pendant moves, light dances across the surface, creating shifting bands of gold and brown that mimic the texture and sheen of real fur, giving the pug an almost lifelike presence.

The eyes are set with small rubies, adding a vivid flash of colour and bringing warmth and character to the face. A discreet 9 carat gold loop fitted to the reverse allows the pendant to be worn securely on a chain, while keeping the focus firmly on the carved form.
