Ruby Eye Fox Ring in 9 Carat gold; Circa 1900

A charming and sort after fox ring. This antique jewel has been created in warm 9 carat gold and features the most wonderful little fox at its centre.

The fox’s head appears to have originally been created as a Victorian brooch or pin, before being converted into a ring, giving this jewel a second life as a wearable piece of jewellery. The fox is wonderfully characterful, with its finely formed features and attentive expression making it feel almost as though it is watching from the finger.

A magical detail is found in the fox’s eyes, which have been set with lively ruby stones. They catch the light beautifully, giving the little fox an almost mischievous sparkle and bringing the face wonderfully to life.
