A beautifully preserved multiple ring display box dating to around 1900, crafted by the esteemed London firm Hanson & Co. The exterior is finished in a soft brown fabric, understated and elegant, while the interior opens to reveal a sumptuous contrast of vibrant blue silk and velvet. Designed to hold up to 18 rings, each nestled securely within its slot, it speaks to the golden age of jewellers’ presentation and the artistry of fine display.
Hanson & Co were a noted London firm specialising in high quality jewellery boxes and cases, supplying some of the capital’s most fashionable jewellers and retailers at the turn of the century. Their work is distinguished by its superior craftsmanship, refined materials, and attention to detail. All attributes clearly evident in this example.

CONDITION: This is in overall good antique condition with light wear all over.The corners as expected show extra wear with the fabric coming away as well as some darkening of the outside
