Art Nouveau Diamond Figural Ring; Circa 1920

An exceptional antique French Art Nouveau ring. Created in rich 18 carat gold and dating to 1900 its a miniature work of art. The sculptural design centres on a serene female figure with flowing hair, adorned with three delicately set diamonds in her hair. Flowing all around and interwoven in her hair are floral like blossoms; a poetic hallmark of the Art Nouveau movement.

Substantial in hand and weighing over 9 grams, the ring offers excellent finger coverage and a satisfying presence, feeling reassuringly heavy when worn. Its extremely sculptural on the hand as the gold has been formed around the band
