A beautiful and atmospheric jewel. This citrine ring dates to the mid to early 19th century and carries the unmistakable influence of late Georgian design. The band features the classic three row split construction, where the shoulders separate into elegant strands that meet at the base of the setting. An architectural detail that instantly evokes the earlier era.

At its centre sits an exceptionally lively oval cut citrine, glowing with rich golden fire. The gemstone’s bright, scintillating facets catch the light effortlessly. A radiant contrast against the warm gold. The effect is a wonderfully opulent glow, giving the ring an undeniably luxurious presence on the hand.

Citrine was a favoured gemstone of the Georgian and early Victorian eras, admired for its warmth and its association with joy and prosperity. This example is particularly charming for its lively cut, characterful colour, and the authenticity of its period craftsmanship.

An elegant antique ring that offers both history and everyday wearability.
