This is one of the most darling and gorgeous examples of a Victorian gemstone rings and in amazing original condition! Truly remarkable.
Set at the top of the ring are four wonderful crisp paste stones. Two round old cut and two oval, they have a fresh crisp sparkle in the light. Surrounding these we have six berry red almandine garnets which contrast against the main stones. Set around the jewels a lovely gold beading work adding the ornate and historical feel.
Leading down the shoulders are exaggerated fine feminine flowing gold work with an ornately engraved shoulders. This is beautiful jewel what ever angle you view it from. Being made for 9 carat gold means the ring has a warm glow and luxurious feel.
Dating to 1876, this ring has been worn and loved by many generations, a historical jewel of real beauty.
