Vintage Bloodstone Intaglio Signet Ring in 9 Carat Gold; Circa 1982

This vintage intaglio ring is a luxurious and gorgeous jewel of buttery deep gold! We adore the defined and ornate carving.

With its design origins clearly rooted in centuries past, this vintage signet ring is a timeless piece of jewellery. At the centre we have a winged bird of prey - probably an eagle. Carved by hand into bloodstone, the deep green hue is accented by sporadic dots of red. Hence the name. 

The setting is a satisfyingly tactile heavy 9 carat gold band. The warmth of the gold complementing the green richness at the centre.
