A jewel of quiet sentiment and timeless beauty, this Georgian signet ring captures the refined elegance of the era. Crafted with delicacy its foliate inspired shoulders flow gently into a shield shaped bloodstone panel. Onto this we have engraved simply with the name “Betsie” in a soft, flowing script.

Such intimate inscriptions were deeply personal in the Georgian era, a name engraved not for show, but as a tender mark of affection or remembrance. Whether Besie was a beloved friend, family member, or partner their name has been lovingly preserved within this small yet significant work of art.

The combination of the bloodstone’s deep green hue and the organic gold detailing speaks of enduring craftsmanship and sentiment, a piece as meaningful today as it was more than two centuries ago.
