Antique Diamond Brooch in 18 Carat Gold with Box; Circa 1912

A striking and highly evocative antique brooch, set with rose cut diamonds forming the commemorative date “1912.” The diamonds are beautifully lively, their soft sparkle typical of hand cut stones from the period. Adding to the design is a further single rose cut diamond set at one end of the pin. A refined detail that elevates the piece and speaks to the care taken in its creation. The brooch itself is a lovely buttery 18 carat gold. 

The brooch is offered in its original antique presentation box, richly patinated with age and history, providing a rare and wonderful sense of continuity from its original ownership to today.

Condition: Overall in lovely antique condition and ready to wear and be loved with just a fine patina of wear overall. There is some difference in colour of the '2' compared to the other numbers.
