Filled with love this beautiful collectors piece would be a wonderful addition to any jewellery lovers collection. Created in the Victorian era in, this brooch captures so much character and beauty of this animal.
Set at the centre of this brooch is an intricately detailed eagle claw. Clasped within its talon is a wonderfully magical opal. All the colours of the rainbow playing in the light when worn. There is a huge amount of detail to the claw and looking closely it looks like the clay may have started life as a stick pin and may have been adapted historically to a brooch. A testament to the timeless design.
The claw has been expertly set onto a solid simple gold bar brooch. This would be an amazing brooch but could also be worn as a necklace or bracelet extender, pendant, or however you wish to bring this treasure to life.
This is certainly an exceptional piece of history; ornate, exceptionally made and filled with character. You will not find many of these, and they have certainly become a firm collectors favourite.
