The perfect sentimental gesture of love and friendship is this exceptional quality and detailed Mizpah rich yellow gold ring. A must have addition to any vintage or antique jewellery lovers collection.
The term ‘Mizpah is found in Genesis 31:49, it means ‘watchtower and is used as a prayer, meaning “May the Lord keep watch between you and me when we are away from each other. The Victorian era was filled with symbols and declarations of love and remembrance.
Usually given as a token of love between lovers, friends or family, this piece would be beautiful gesture of a gift. It would also amazing a gorgeous choice if an usual and unique antique wedding band filled with history.
This Mizpah ring is been created from 9 carat gold in late Victorian era England. Amazingly this has a rare addition of a single ruby punctuating the Mizpah at the top of the ring. This ruby has a slightly pinky tone making it a little more unusual. The pinky red garnet perfectly contrasts against the warmth of the rich gold.
The ‘mizpah has been beautifully picked out in relief on the front of the band. The pronounced nature of the font and addition of the garnet overall makes this an especially good quality example.
Weather youre treating yourself or a loved one, this is a beautiful and sentimental piece of history. Not only a beautiful Mizpah, but one of the finest and more unusual examples we have come across.
