A beautifully romantic Georgian love token, dated 1780, delicately carved from mother of pearl. One side is decorated with a heart, flaming motifs, and tiny arrows. Rich with symbolism of passion, devotion, and fidelity. wWhile the reverse bears the name “Eliz Hewson 1780.”
Each detail captures the sentiment and artistry of the late 18th century, when such keepsakes were exchanged as tokens of affection and remembrance.
