Antique Enamel Dog Signet Ring in 9 Carat Gold; Circa 1925

A fabulous signet ring thats been created in warm 9 carat gold and adorned with an everlasting image of a devoted friend. 

The ring has a rectangular signet profile, with beautifully ornate engraved shoulders adding a lovely sense of detail and craftsmanship. But it's the front panel that makes this ring so special. Rather than the traditional initials or crests , it has been adorned with a charming enamel portrait of a grey terrier in side profile.

The little terrier has been rendered in wonderful detail, with the enamel capturing the distinctive shape and character of the breed. There is something particularly lovely immortalising a much loved dog in such a personal piece of jewellery, turning the traditional signet ring into something altogether more sentimental and individual.

A fantastic signet for someone drawn to unusual jewellery with a story and a little personality.
