Vintage Wirral Address Pendant Token in 9 Carat Gold ; Circa 1964

A darling vintage personal token pendant. Crated as a simple disc of 9 carat gold and dating to 1964. The front is engraved with the name and address “Dodd, 1 Avondale, Whitby, Wirral,” transforming the pendant from a piece of jewellery into a deeply individual marker of identity and place.

Such address pendants were often worn as sentimental keepsakes, emergency identification, or as a comforting link to home. Particularly during times of travel, change or separation.
