Vintage Shibayama Ring in Sterling Silver

A enchanting piece of jewellery, this ring would be a lovely addition to any jewellery lovers collection.

Created from sterling silver, the ring has a bold and eye catching profile. Almost a signet ring in design the central panel is created from mother of pearl and has been adorned with three bugs. Using a Japanese technique called Shibayama, the surface has been adorned with inlay from stones, shells and resin along with engraving to give the look of life like insects. 

We adore this ancient technique and the magic it can create!
